We will create an app through the course

Expect homework to reinforce the learnings and recommended readings for each session. Learn the best practices by doing them to become a senior dev as soon as possible!

    Architectures

    What's the difference between MVC, MVP, MVVM, MVI? What's a good architecture for the project?

  2. 02

    Coroutines & structured concurrency, beyond the tutorial

    Scopes, cancellation, and the failure modes that only show up in production traffic.

  3. 03

    Testing strategy: what to test, how do pros write their tests?

    Coverage numbers are a vanity metric. Building the judgment to know what actually needs a test. Are you sure, your tests are resuable?

  4. 04

    Using AI as a tool

    The narrative has shifted from 'people will be replaced by AI' to 'people will be 1000x times more productive by AI'. Is this really the case? We'll dive deep into this.

  5. 05

    Add features, rethink, refactor

    In an ideal world, we plan once, implement it, write tests for it and we good. In the real world however...

Used to work as a Lead Android engineer @ Capgemini, nowadays I'm working with Rust and embedded systems. I've spent years reviewing pull requests, untangling architecture decisions made under deadline pressure, and mentoring engineers through the exact transition this course covers.
